ABOUT THE SCHOOL – IPHS
The Indian Public High School Private, Ras-Al-Khaimah, founded in 1986 is a modern English medium school. IPHS is recognized by the Ministry of Education, UAE and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
The curriculum, encompasses general objectives of learning, competencies to be attained, courses of study, subject-wise learning outcomes and content, pedagogical practices and assessment guidelines. The curriculum provided by CBSE is based on National Education Policy 2020 and seeks to provide opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning.
IPHS Kindergarten Curriculum:
A holistic curriculum in kindergarten emphasizes the development of the whole child, addressing not only academic skills but also social, emotional, physical, and creative aspects. The goal is to provide a well-rounded educational experience that nurtures every facet of a child’s growth and development.
At IPHS Kindergarten, we conduct a curriculum using play-based methods integrated seamlessly into our lessons. These gauge students’ progress by aligning with the learning outcomes derived from the Early Learning Goals. Our aim is to ensure that students meet benchmarks of CBSE, EYFS, and Best Practices, as they engage in dynamic and interactive learning experiences.

IPHS Curriculum Across Grades:
IPHS envisions the all-around development of students in consonance with the holistic approach to education and therefore, has done away with artificial boundary between the co-curricular domain and the curricular domain. Secondary Curriculum provides students a broad and balanced understanding of subjects including languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science to enable students to communicate effectively, analyze information, make informed decisions, construct their worldview in alignment with constitutional values and move ahead in the direction of becoming productive citizens. The recent focus is on the development of 21st-century skills in settings where each student feels independent, safe, and comfortable with their learning. Objectives of the Curriculum:
